The wind swirled in the sky, dancing through the dark clouds, as free as wind can be. Until it was pushed.
Rain filled the sky, and water flowed, as free as water can be. Until it was stuck.
The ground stayed still, never faltering, immovable, as free as the earth can be. Until it was cracked.
A flame flickered, wild and hot, as free as fire can be. Until it was extinguished.
For a moment, all things were free. Until something controlled them.
A sound resonated, an intense ringing that started fading away. A spike of pain. A muffled voice. The sound of rain. A distant thunder.
"… mankind did not act correctly hundreds of years ago" someone said, the muffled sound becoming clearer.
"No one should choose who deserves to live or die. That is not our judgement to give." his eyes were heavy, he tried to open them slowly. A shadow stood above him, light poured from all around, blinding his dry eyes.
"No one decides who we are when we are born, it’s not our fault we're like this”. The shadow kneeled, he blinked.
"You should've joined me. You could've become a hero", he blinked again, and could now see a little more around him, blood was splattered on the floor, the rain taking it away through cracks on the floor.
"The last two mages alive" the shadow smiled, a cold and sad smile "I guess I'll now become the last." He stood up and started walking away.
"The age of magic will return" the shadow said in the distance, and a sudden pain made his eyes blink for the last time.

(t8n-depart:"blur")+(t8n-arrive:"blur")+(t8n-time:1s)[[First Chapter->First Chapter]]Where there was life, there was magic. An in all beings magic flows. Some manifest it, others dont. And there was balance... Until some humans saw magic as chaos. Magic was powerful and wild if not used correctly, and this caused fear in most. Because of fear, some mages were brought down. Until eventually, humans without magic, decided to end all magic, in an attempt to bring balance to the world. And so it was. Magicless humans proceeded to kill all beings with magic, including other humans.
And after hundreds of years... They succeded.
In sum, the story starts with some soft world building, you know that there was magic in the world, and that some humans had it, others didn't.
Because of this difference fear came, followed by hate. Humans proceded to kill eachother for centuries. Until no more mages were left.
There's a time skip, maybe a few hundred years of magicless life, and we hear the conversation of two people, one is standing up and talking, the other on the floor, almost dead.
The one on the floor tries to look at the person standing up, the person standing up notices this and kneels, to try and help the other laying down to see him better. And then he leaves after saying what he meant too. The person on the floor, loses consciousness soon after.

(t8n-depart:"blur")+(t8n-arrive:"blur")+(t8n-time:1s)[[The Main Character->The Main Character]]Here we are introduced to our main villain and our main character. The villain is stading up, and just murdered everyone that opposed him but the main character, because
they both shared the same gift of magic.
The villain was born with powerful magic, and after learning the fate of his ancestors he decides to bring them justice through revenge, but not only that, he also made a promised to himself that he would bring magic back to the world, to restore the gift that life gave the mages.
The main character was born with basicly no magic, he was a simple mage that used the little power he had to help others, and he decided to try and stop his evil "brother", they are not really brothers but they both share the gift of magic. Since the main character knew the other was much more powerful, he gathered a group of warriors to defeat him, and stop his rampaging. They were not enough, and the villain defeated them, killing everyone but the main character while wouding him for life. The villain wanted the main character to join him, but he (main character) didn't want to have revenge on others, because he wanted everyone to have peace. Because of that the villain makes the speech and leaves him to die.
(t8n-depart:"blur")+(t8n-arrive:"blur")+(t8n-time:1s)[[Character Development->Grief]]
This will represent the main characters development through the story:
There are five stages of grief, those being Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Acceptance.
We all feel pain and suffering
We all face hardship and endure scars
We run away from who we are only to face guilt and shame
We fail to save those we care about the most
We fear we aren't the person we want to be
We are scared of the world turning its back on us
We are scared of the world thinking we are not enough, even for ourselves
We look back on the past wondering what we did wrong
But its in our strugles we found ourselves

The air was heavy. Dark wood covered the walls and several men gathered at the tables enjoying drinks after a full day of work. The barkeep was busy with the customers, and a lonely shadow sat at the bar.
A man was staring at an empty glass, playing around with it, completely lost in his thoughts. His skin was slightly burned by the sunlight. He wore plain clothes, no one would give him a second look at the street, dark boots, a plain previously white blouse of cloth and leather trousers fastened by a leather belt round the waist. All clearly overworn and washed. At his shoulders rested a long brown coat, still wet from the rain.
“Another day another week eh…” The barkeep makes his away across the bar moving towards the lonely man. “Want another refill?”.
The man pushed the glass towards the barkeep. “Hum… Whisky, the cheap one” the barkeep smiles at him.
“You always say the same, as if I’d make the same mistake twice”. He turns around towards the bottle cabinet behind the bar and filled the cup.
“It’s because you didn’t just make the same mistake twice” The man stabbed back, no emotion heard in his voice. But the barkeep laughed, a booming laughter.
“If I didn’t know you’d be back, I might’ve taken that more seriously” he added after laughing and moved to attend other costumers.
Green olive eyes drowned in the glass, he served the most expensive one, again. He thought to himself and sighed. It’s not that he did not have coins to pay for it, but the barkeep didn’t accept the extra coins. Saying he was a trustworthy customer… What could he know? His right hand filled with scars held the glass, most would discard them as work injuries. He sipped at the glass and threw a few coins inside a pot on the bar, that way the barkeep couldn’t give them back. At least until he had to say he paid at the pot.
The man took a deep breath, and drowned himself on the glass again, lost in his thoughts. Not that he had a lot to think about, he just… decided not to think too much. Without noticing he rolled his left shoulder, and his coat moved silently.
After a few hours, he was alone in the bar while the barkeep was closing. “You plan on leaving, or would you like me to leave a chair on a table for you?” he asked while cleaning.
The man at the bar sighed and moved to get up. “Yeah, I’m going. Thanks” he tried showing appreciation. And moved towards the entrance.
“Oh no need to thank me, have a good night. See you around”. The streets were dark, filled with the occasional light from the torch lamps. The cobblestone was still wet from the rain. He stopped outside.
The man closed his eyes and looked towards the sky, breathing in the night’s air and sighed. He tugged at his coat to shelter him from the cold and started walking. He walked towards the plaza, empty like his eyes. Silence followed his footsteps. In the middle of it there was a fountain with no water flowing, in which he sat. He liked silence. It helped ignore the world around him.
A shadow appeared on the street. It moved towards the fountain and joined beside him. He was already used to this and ignored it. And for a moment, all stood still.
The man didn’t move, his face expressionless, but his eyes did all the talk. A silent crying followed.
And in the cold winter night, he sat at the fountain until sun rose, the shadow beside him.
